Calling All Prayer Warriors
Please join the CASJE board members as we pray the St. Therese of Lisieux Novena starting September 22nd. Our specific intentions are:
That we will be able to connect with families who are interested in this proven model of high school education for their children
That we are able to attract and hire a headmaster and faculty that will captivate our students and be servant leaders
That we continue to have volunteers to help us meet the various needs that establishing a school creates
That we would be blessed with donors who will help provision the school to educate and evangelize the next generation

Dale Ahlquist is co-founder of Chesterton Academy, President of the Society of Gilbert Keith Chesterton, and creator and host of the EWTN series “G.K. Chesterton: The Apostle of Common Sense.” We are thrilled to host him in Charlottesville for two events:
Friday, Nov 10th: Prospective Families Event
Dale will discuss what it’s like for founding families at a Chesterton Academy. He’ll respond to parent and student questions on the school’s philosophy and curriculum, as well as practical aspects of student and community life. Come hear it from the source!
Saturday, Nov 11th: First Annual “Friend-raiser” for Chesterton Academy of Saint John the Evangelist
We are excited to host our inaugural “Friend-raiser”! This unique evening will begin with an acknowledgment of Veterans Day, followed by an engaging talk by Dale Ahlquist. He will share how the wit and wisdom of G.K. Chesterton inspired the classical school that's rapidly expanding in the U.S. and beyond. Enjoy refreshments and mingling with fellow Catholics from across Charlottesville. Mark your calendar for Nov. 11th and RSVP on our web site.
